Gradings

Terms and conditions of grading :-

  • All club fees must be paid up to date.

  • The grading fee is to be paid prior to the grading date.

  • I have been on my current grade for at least the minimum required time to be eligible to grade.

  • I understand that the examiner shall be the only person who is qualified to promote me, or fail me, on the basis of my technique, knowledge of the art, and attitude.

  • I have been invited to grade by my instructor.

 

Grading/Testing dates for  2024 :-

  • Thursday March the 7th Dragons 6pm start.

  • Saturday March 23rd Degree and Gup.

  • Thursday July 4th Dragons 6pm start.

  • Saturday July 20th Degree and Gup.

  • Thursday October 24th Dragons 6pm start.
  • Saturday November 16th Degree and Gup.

Gup Grading Application

Fee's for Gup grading:-

Single person = $60.

Two person family = $95.

Three or more person's from same family = $125.

Degree Grading Application

Fee's for degree grading:-

for 1st degree = NZ$450.

For 2nd degree = NZ$450.

For 3rd degree = NZ$350.

For 4th degree and above POA

(as a guide usually US$100 per degree.)
